This position is approved to be a Flex/Hybrid/Remote work location.

Position will be responsible in Data Analytics reporting within Administrative Services, Randall Building, Raleigh.

  • Position requires using the Integrated Payroll System (BOBJ) to run reports for all levels of Management.

  • Position will also run financial reports and assist in preparing documents and data for managements for meetings, cost projections/planning and will also work within a team on various special projects.

  • Must be able to manipulate raw data and give projections based on data as requested

  • Competency converting data into various formats as requested by management being pulled from various reporting systems.

  • Will work with various sections within NCDAC to provide and support reporting.

  • Ability to communicate with facilities, other sections within DAC and Management to provide request in report request and information.

  • Team working skills are crucial

  • Position provides data analytics to Prison Administration using a variety of formats.

  • This position requires a high aptitude for accuracy and attention to details.

To qualify for this position, applicants must document in the Description of Work section of their application that they possess ALL of the following were applicable:

  • Expert skills using Excel worksheets. These skills include ALLbut are not limited to:  

  • running and creating functions, 

  • pivot tables, 

  • charts and 

  • merging data

  • applying formulas

  • Demonstrated skills converting data into various formats from various reporting systems.

  • Proven proficiency with analytical functions.

Management Preferences

Proficiency using SAP/BOBJ reporting

Working Experience and working knowledge of NCFS Financial Reports.

Bachelor s degree from appropriately accredited institution in a discipline related to the area of assignment with two years of programmatic experience related to the area of assignment;
