GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:

The Data Analytics Analyst is responsible for providing analytical information, about specific project or broad company activities that will assist management, its shareholders and other users in making educated economic decisions about the company's future.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques

  • Developing and implementing data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality

  • Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases to build a repository of business related information

  • Developing smart frameworks and methodologies for approaching major strategic issues

  • Finding innovative ways to leverage existing intellectual capital, and developing fresh and relevant concepts

  • Identifying the analytics opportunity, presenting the insights that impact the bottom line and all steps in-between to the senior leaders of the organization

  • Define, track and report KPIs to assess overall data quality

  • Effectively communicate information to management by creating and summarizing data and preparing reports

  • Create process flows, presentations and reports to document recommendations and deliver them to the business stakeholders.

  • Participate in a wide variety of special projects and compile a variety of special reports.

  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.

Demonstrated data analytics and forecasting skills. Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and practices. Strong analytical, problem solving, prioritization, and organizational skills. Ability to generate ideas to improve process and automate activities. Ability to analyze problems and develop solutions. Must be well organized with a strong sensitivity to timely follow up, deadlines, and completing assigned tasks. Commitment to quality management through demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness and recommending ways to improve. Must be a strong communicator in all media forms with the ability to communicate with associates, managers, in group settings, or individually, at all levels of the company. Should possess strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and related databases), ability to compile complex spreadsheets, ability to draft presentations, and ability to create meaningful and concise communications.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering Mathematics), or related field with a minimum of five (5) years' experience performing data analysis or with related training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Maines Warehouse Sectors are enjoying a Four Day Work Week with Every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday Off. They are responsible for building customer orders in a safe, timely and accurate fashion. Using a pallet jack, Selectors receive direction via a scanner computer that guides them to the appropriate product in the warehouse. The Selector is then responsible for physically lifting each case of product and stacking the product on a pallet. EXPECTATIONS: The #1Priority is being safe at all times. The average case weight is approximately 35 pounds and will get as heavy as 100 pounds on occasion. You will lift 20,000 to 30,000 pounds a day and will be expected to maintain a competitive average throughput. What is throughput? It is defined as your total cases selected divided by the total hours worked. You will be required to maintain an aggressive quality and accuracy standard to ensure that the customer is given the highest quality service. Our minimum throughput goals are as follows: SCHEDULES: 4 day work week Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 8:30 AM -- 7:00 PM -- Overtime as needed COMPENSATION: After successfully completing the 12-week probation period, selectors are moved to piece pay. You do not have to wait for the probation period to end to move to piece pay.
