Data Analyst

Job Description Job Description We are offering an exciting contract to permanent employment opportunity for a detail-oriented Data Analyst in the Construction/Contractor industry, located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. As a Data Analyst, you will take on the critical role of gathering and interpreting data to inform business decisions, detect trends, and promote ongoing enhancement.

Responsibilities: Data Integration : Bridge data between accounting systems (MRI), point of sale (POS) systems (for an operating car wash company), Real Estate and Development tracking software (Smartsheet), Power BI, and the company’s data lakehouse (currently being structured through Data Bricks) to ensure seamless data flow. Data Visualization: Create and customize dashboards for executive-level management review.

Data Analysis: Conduct ongoing analysis of integrated data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business decisions. Data Quality Assurance : Monitor and ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across all systems.

Reporting: Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide timely and accurate information to stakeholders. Collaboration: Work closely with accounting, IT, and other departments to understand data needs and ensure data solutions meet business requirements. Data Governance:

Implement and adhere to data governance policies to maintain data security and compliance. Problem-Solving : Identify and resolve data discrepancies and issues promptly to maintain data reliability. Documentation : Maintain comprehensive documentation of data processes, methodologies, and findings. 1-2 years of relevant experience Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or Python.

Statistical analysis skills to interpret data and draw insights. Data visualization abilities using tools like Tableau or Power BI. Problem-solving skills to address data-related challenges.

Attention to detail in cleaning and organizing datasets. Strong communication skills to present findings and recommendations. Adaptability to work with different types of data and analytical techniques.
