About the Team:

The Analytics team at Quizlet leverages our rich data set to support data-driven decision making and insights throughout the company. The team collaborates with Data Engineering and Machine Learning teams in the broader Data organization.

About the Role:

As a Data Analyst, Operations, you will partner closely with our User Operations, Product Operations, Legal, Trust & Safety, and Security teams to support them with data-informed decisions and reporting on a variety of business needs. You will productionalize dashboards, provide quantitative insights and research from our vast array of data, and support reporting and ad hoc data needs from these teams. This is a dynamic role that will need to be prioritized across teams.

This is a hybrid role based out of our Denver, Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco office hubs.

In this role, you will:

• Support a variety of teams with data-informed decisions and reporting
  Some example projects include:

Creating dashboards to monitor our User Operations CSAT trends on different populations of users

Pull Quantitative data to support Product Operations insights on user pain-pointsExtracting data reports for Legal research

Creating dashboards for Trust & Safety content moderation across our AI products

Investigating fraudulent user behavior and quantifying impact to the business

Deep-dive research on a particular business question

What you bring to the table:

• 2+ years of experience in Data Analysis at a consumer internet company (Business Analyst, Fraud Analyst, Operations Analyst, Customer Analyst, Product Analyst, etc.)

• Advanced SQL skills (CTEs, window functions, etc.) with strong Q&A ability

• Proven experience creating and owning dashboards with user-based and event-based data

• Ability to research and synthesize data insights and recommendations to stakeholders

• Strong sense of ownership and impact for projects you are involved with

• Ability to prioritize across multiple teams and projects

• Strong communication with a variety of stakeholders

• Experience working with one or more of the teams/domains (User Operations, Product Operations, Legal, Trust & Safety, Fraud & Security)

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience working with BigQuery and Periscope

Total compensation for this role is market competitive, including a starting base salary of $95,000 - $140,000, depending on location and experience, as well as company stock options
