Data Analyst

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst with experience in Azure Data Factory and Power BI to join our client's growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining data integration solutions, performing data analysis, and creating insightful reports and dashboards to support business decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into data warehouses and data lakes.
• Create and manage data models and datasets in Power BI.
• Develop interactive and visually appealing Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights to support business decisions.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the data lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and optimize data processes for performance and scalability.
• Document data workflows, processes, and solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Dsuata Factory for building and managing data pipelines.
• Proficiency in Power BI for creating reports and dashboards.
• Strong knowledge of SQL for data querying and manipulation.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and technologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other Azure services such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Familiarity with programming languages Python.
• Knowledge of data governance and data security best practices.
• Experience with other BI tools and technologies.
