JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.
JOB SUMMARY - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
Generally acting as a working team lead and/or senior technical contributor, a Data Analyst IV, performs and directs the work of lower-level professionals involved in the design and implementation of applied research functions and techniques to test and analyze data and report results.
Employee will be responsible to perform the following functions/duties:
Apply expert systems analysis and design techniques to complex systems development in a specialized design area or resolve problems in existing systems by applying new technology
Design, develop, and adapt a variety of methods to analyze complex operational problems
Utilize modeling and measuring techniques, mathematics, statistical methods, engineering methods, operational mathematics techniques, and other principles and laws of scientific and economic disciplines
Develop and conduct analytical studies to provide advice and evaluations of the probable effects of alternate solutions to problems
Perform professional work in operations research and analyze test runs on computers to correct or direct correction of programs and input data
Conduct studies to organize data collection to select and apply appropriate methods of analyses to evaluate findings and draw reliable conclusions
Develop, maintain, and produce analytical documentation
Provide work direction to lower-level professionals
Perform other job-related duties, as required
RANGE POSITION DESCRIPTION
Develop data analysis tools, processes, or products for analysis and provide analytical mentorship to junior analysts
Analyze pre-test predictions to design test events and profiles, define data collection requirements and go/no-go criteria to meet test objectives
Brief mission execution plans, conduct test activities from control centers and provide system performance monitoring
Order QC and analyze data; Identify and resolve data anomalies and System Under Test performance variances
Present test findings and recommendations to 445 TS
Author test documents (Data Management and Analysis Plans, Test Support)
Provide Technical Expertise on the test process and capabilities of the virtual range environment
REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE
A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, physics or mathematics, or equivalent formal training, in addition to a minimum of 7 years of analytical experience in a related field are required for this position.
In addition, a Data Analyst IV must possess the following qualifications:
Proficient professional skills in a specialty area, e.g., applications systems design, operations research, computer equipment analysis, or systems software design sufficient to function as technical authority in that area
Sufficient level of knowledge to perform a key role in difficult assignments such as planning advance system projects or leading task forces for solving critical problems in existing systems that require innovative solutions in many aspects of the project
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent planning/organizing skills
Ability to work under deadlines
Must possess a valid, state issued driver's license.
Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
SALARY
The expected salary range for this position is $81,286 to $135,200 annually.
Note: The salary range offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will pay. JT4, LLC considers factors such as (but not limited to) responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is performed in a typical office environment with no unusual hazards. Occasional lifting (up to 30 pounds), constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness are required. Travel to remote company work locations may be required.
