This is a part-time, seasonal position.
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual to join our team as a Data Analyst. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in interpreting and analyzing data to provide actionable insights for informed decision-making. The Data Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams, utilizing statistical methods and data visualization tools to uncover trends, patterns, and key insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Collection and Processing:
- Collect, clean, and preprocess raw data from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand data requirements and ensure data quality.
Data Analysis and Interpretation:
- Utilize statistical techniques to analyze large datasets and extract meaningful patterns.
- Interpret and communicate findings through clear and concise reports, charts, and dashboards.
- Provide insights that contribute to strategic decision-making processes.
Data Visualization:
- Develop and design visually appealing dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Present complex data in a clear and understandable manner for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Report Generation:
- Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and other relevant metrics.
- Automate reporting processes to streamline data delivery and improve efficiency.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and tailor analyses to meet specific needs.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and present insights.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analysis
- Propose and implement improvements to data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Familiarity with database management and data warehousing concepts.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
