This role in summary
The Data Analyst sits within the KitchenAid Insights & Analytics team and is responsible for helping fill knowledge gaps, analyzing global data sets and automating key marketing data to enable more global, strategic decision making. This individual will act as a strategic consultant to the KitchenAid small appliance division and help us use data-driven insights to fuel growth. This is a critical role in helping the business grow our data acumen and leverage our data more efficiently. This individual will get to work on a very beloved and dependable global brand and be a key influencer to the business and to senior leaders on strategic global growth.
Your responsibilities will include
Provide data support, reporting, analyzing and uncovering insights/implications of global industry data to help inform and strengthen product portfolio, regional market knowledge, and growth opportunities
Help build and execute a strategic and forward-looking data automation roadmap to enable more agile marketing decision making
Partner with global IT to activate roadmap and deliver standardized data and outputs that serve various business needs
Business lead for the GIS Pod; Work with the marketing, merch and regional teams to identify needs and gaps and leverage the Pod to deliver appropriate data and reporting solutions
Build expertise in current and new market data available to the global team
Perform quality checks & conduct data cleansing to maintain accuracy and consistency
Minimum requirements
Preferred skills and experiences
High level of proficiency working with multiple types of data
Ability to convert data into actionable insights
Strong communication, interpersonal, partnering, influence, and presentation skills
Self-motivated, high sense of urgency
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to troubleshoot and make changes as needed
Global data experience
Microsoft Excel
