Position: Data Analyst III
Job Location: 2608 SE J St, Bentonville, AR 72712
Duties: Assumes duties of Project Manager II, Innovation in the absence of the Project Manager II, Innovation by attending meetings; working directly with project teams on specific projects and analyses; performing analyses; providing directional advice/guidance related to defined logistical issues; and determining which issues need to be elevated. Collaborates cross-functionally on assignments with internal and external stakeholders to understand the results of data analyses and research by communicating results and findings. Identifies root causes and develops potential solutions for Innovation initiatives, as assigned by supervisor, by analyzing data, processes and information through multiple techniques (for example, data analysis, data mining, trend analysis, financial analysis); and making recommendations based on data and observations. Collects, organizes, and validates data, processes and information by conducting process observations, mapping, interviews, time studies, data mining and trend analyses; utilizing multiple internal and external sources; and analyzing data using basic statistical techniques. Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales.
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field plus 1 year of data analytics experience, or related experience; OR 3 years of data analytics experience, or related experience.
Skills Required: Must have experience with: Coding in Structured Query Language for relational Database (SQL, T-SQL); Designing Business Database using Joins and transactional real time data involving python and SQL (Code Development & Testing); Analyzing Data using Python and obtain business insights using models and production deployment (Model Assessment and Analysis); Automating Development Scripts using Python and Alteryx to perform ETL and data cleansing; Involving Real time Production Support for Analytics by finding insights and data models (Python programming and Machine Learning); Visualizing Data represent Business Insights to help decision making for senior leadership (Tableau/PowerBI); and Participating in and preparing content for KT sessions, documenting the understanding, taking on Shadow Support (SDLC, Waterfall lifecycle).
