Assignment Details

Job Description:
Data Analyst is responsible pulling data to support trending of product complaints and medical device reports utilizing data that resides in the complaint handling database for all product lines.

This will include detailed data reports (e.g. graphs, charts, tables) prepared for routine trending, senior management reviews, ad-hoc requests, and cross-functional requests as needed (e.g. Regulatory, Quality Engineering, R&D).

The Data Analyst will establish and maintain complex reporting formulas and templates using reporting tools such as Excel and other databases (e.g. Business Objects).

This individual will work with the Data Analytics engineers and analysts to develop methods, templates, and reports for the Regulatory reports.

With the new European Medical Device Regulations (EU MDR) being rolled out, the monitoring of product performance (such as customer complaints) will increase significantly.

To produce accurate, long-term performance data sets, mining of current and legacy databases will be required.

This will require extensive use of Business Objects, Excel (including macros and pivot charts), MS Access, Word, and PowerPoint. Collaboration with the technical experts writing the responses will also be required, often under a tight deadline.
Qualifications
This individual should have prior experience with medical devices, European medical device regulations (but not an expert), as well as a willingness to learn about our Client's products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities * • Work under direct supervision and guidance from supervisor and/or department lead and able to follow written and verbal instructions * Works directly from shop manuals, manufactures, specifications, blueprints, and shop drawings under direction of department lead or supervisors and will exercise proficiency in reading and interpreting * Will work under the direction of immediate supervisor; higher labor grade machinist and/or department lead in carrying out cycle time reduction and process improvement initiatives * Will exercise proficiency reviewing work for completeness and quality of workmanship * Exercise proficiency in identifying parts in assembly and ensure proper dimension control * As required, moves parts to next operation and/or performs preprocessing operation as assigned * Operate production machinery as required and direct by supervisor and/or department lead * Able to work in a fast-paced environment * Able to follow established housekeeping and safety practices to maintain quality of work environment * Performs all work within established standards of production * Other duties may be assigned * Must be willing to work overtime and Saturdays as scheduled Qualifications Basic Qualifications: * Highschool diploma or GED required * Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
