Data Analyst

Purpose: 

The Data Solutions Administrator will work across departments to gather, organize and interpret data into meaningful reports needed to identify trends and patterns both internal and external to the organization which enable the business to make informed business decisions.  

Duties and Responsibilities:

Gathers, organizes, and interprets statistical data from multiple sources.

Writes SQL scripts, queries, and stored procedures to extract data.

Utilizes best practices in data management to ensure the integrity of the data, the quality of data processes and delivers analyzable or analyzed data to a variety of internal and external clients.

Performs ad hoc and structured data analysis.

Collaborates with the leadership team to deliver KPIs for monitoring departmental performance.

Develops and maintains concise and legible dashboards and interactive reports which allow leaders to monitor current departmental performance.

Develops and maintains industry specific reports using iClassPro customer data.

Conducts market research in respect to other providers and opportunities.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Requirements Skills and Abilities: 

Excellent listening, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Extremely organized with great attention to detail.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to collect, clean, measure, organize and analyze data.

Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI (preferred) or Tableau.

A minimum of two years’ experience working with BI tools with a sound knowledge of database management, data modeling, business intelligence, SQL querying, and data warehousing.

Technology skills should include advanced knowledge of Power BI (or similar), DAX, Power Query, SQL

Works well independently and as part of a team.

Education and Experience: 

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting, or Computer Science or equivalent work experience required.

At least three years in Data Processing, with at least two years of experience with database management systems.
