What you'll be doing...
As the FP&A Data Analyst you will act as a business enablement catalyst across multifunctional teams and responsible for building innovative solutions by performing comprehensive data analysis using cutting edge data science and machine learning techniques.
Perform thorough data analysis, uncover opportunities and address business problems.
Engage with business teams to discuss opportunities where digital finance tools can be leveraged.
Understand problem statements and discover insights using data science and analysis techniques to guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities.
Analyze and build data science solutions that drive product effectiveness, personalization, and operational efficiencies across projects in Finance.
Driving data-driven insights across the wide range of problem statements by analyzing and deriving actionable insights, building models and machine learning algorithms.
In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.
What we're looking for...
You have excellent analytical skills, and are eager to work in a collaborative environment with teams to drive data science applications in business problems and develop use cases. You work independently and are always willing to learn new technologies. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are able to interact with various stakeholders and cross functional teams to implement data science driven business solutions.
You will need to have:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Data Analytics or one or more years of work experience.
Working knowledge of SQL, Python, R, Visual Basic and/or similar tools.
Working Knowledge in the usage of Alteryx, Qlik, Power BI, and/or similar tools.
Willingness to travel.
Even better you have:
Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, or Information Science.
Experience building compelling business cases and analytics driven solutions.
Experience with machine learning and digital finance tools including: Python, Qlik, Thoughtspot, Alteryx, Knime and/or Power Query.
Ability to perform thorough data analysis using database queries, spreadsheets, statistical packages & tools, and communicate results effectively.
Experience with data mining and visualization.
Experience creating compelling narratives to influence decision makers.
Experience interacting and collaborating deeply with other lines of business & the ability to work across cross cultural teams.
