Data Analyst Job Summary

Are you a Data Analyst looking to make an immediate impact with an industry leading retail giant? Do you have experience working with SQL performing queries?

Are you proficient in any BI tools like Tableau or Alteryx? If so, look no further as this is the position for you! The Data Analyst will be responsible for measurement design and identification of KPIs for the supported function(s). In addition, the Data Analyst will be responsible for tracking and communicating results for both key initiatives and tactical activities.

Data Analyst Responsibilities

Clearly translate data points into easily digestible presentations, insights, and recommendations
Prepare and produce analytics reports on a weekly, bi-weekly and monthly basis
Manage data pulls of varying size and complexity
Ensure accuracy of data reporting
Work with internal stakeholders to establish KPIs and related metrics for new products, site enhancements, and site redesigns
Proactively analyze the website(s) for areas of opportunity and actionable recommendations
Stay current with the latest developments with Web Analytics platforms and techniques to help our team stay on the cutting edge of marketing analytics
Develop a thorough understanding of the data environment - data collection, data sources, data accessibility and tools
Support key business initiatives with analytics and insight, acting as a quantitative consultant on projects
Develop automated daily, weekly and monthly reporting through BI tools including Excel/Tableau

Data Analyst Qualifications

Recent graduate (within the last two years)
BS/MS preferably in statistics, mathematics, physics, engineering, systems engineering, information management or business/marketing related fields
Strongly prefer a background with programming classes such as Java, Python, C/C++ and SQL
Excellent GPA (3.0 or higher)

Proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint is required to assimilate new ideas and information quickly
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, drive change, and collaborate effectively with a variety of individuals and organizations
Ability to manage multiple priorities at once and shift priorities seamlessly
Strong relationship builder
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work through problems and reach a workable solution
Strong aptitude in math

This includes responsibility for monitoring changes in business environment and legislation/regulatory standards that may affect HR policies and procedures to ensure continued compliance. This role will support the execution of any type of HR audit. This role must apply knowledge of employment and labor laws, government regulations, and agency rules in order to provide input into investigation and case decisions. Additionally, this role would help with standardization of compliance reports, process and procedures including accommodations and AA/ EEO/ ADA. Lastly, this role supports Field HR will any training materials related to compliance and governance for ER/ LR and support managers with accommodation requests. RESPONSIBILITIES * Proactively monitors changes in business environment and legislation/regulatory standards that may affect HR policies and procedures to ensure continued compliance * Supports and performs analysis to ensure compliance is being met across the various locations and jurisdictions (federal, state, local). * With guidance from the Compliance Manager, drive AA / EEO / ADA compliance for all locations. * Directs internal audits, identifies gaps, and makes recommendations that include all areas of HR functions that impact EEO and Affirmative Action. * Conduct interactive process for religious accommodations. * Partner with leaders of people and HRBPs to support and opine on workplace accommodations. * Identifies trends and recommends improvements regarding organizational compliance standards. * Monitors location audit processes to ensure locations are consistently, accurately, and timely managing HR compliance obligations. * Drives compliance around consent decrees * Responsible for EEO employment postings across all organizations by partnering with location management. * Collaborate with HR Policy Analyst to ensure policies and processes adhere to regulatory standards * Direct internal HR compliance investigations * Maintain and expand knowledge of existing and proposed federal, state and local laws. Develop and implement actions to ensure compliance. * Partner with ER Analyst to prepare and submit all compliance related reporting. * Manage or participate on special projects/programs requiring compliance stakeholder input. - All other responsibilities as assigned. * Partner with the HR operations team to design and develop functional reports and metrics.
