General Summary:
Responsible for the development, implementation, and support of enterprise analytics dashboards & reports.
Essential Functions:
Solution Development:
BI/Data analyst experience or equivalent.
Gather and transform business requirements and analysis into specifications that will be used to drive quality solutions
Develops solutions in alignment with overall strategic goals and directives.
Provide development estimates and timelines for scheduling and planning.
Ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences
Design, build and implement ETL processes, reports, data visualizations & dashboards
Optimize database design, stored procedures, scripts, functions, and other BI components for best performance
Define and implement data quality processes to monitor and detect data quality issues
Production Support:
Provide monitoring and support as required to ensure the availability and performance of enterprise data and BI environments for both external and internal users
Provides bridge between technology and departmental customers/end users including ongoing end-user access and usage support
Responds promptly according to information Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Supports on-call as assigned
As queue manager responded quickly and consistently calling the end user and updating the ticket
Supports peers by being available in a secondary or tertiary support level to others in IS both on and off shift as requested
Mentors other analysts to enable support for your areas when you are not available
Exhibits growth and increased value to FTMC by attempting to solve issues in areas not specifically supported by them
Assists in communication between vendors and end users
Analyzes needs and advocates for area of responsibility
Cooperative, focused, strong work ethic
Observation/Rounding - See, ask why, show respect. Spend time monthly with end users to see process and identify issues/opportunities.
