How you will make an impact:
The Data Analyst will support data mining & analysis related to the development of our devices and procedures, development/improvement of ETL processes, and generating dashboards and reports. Projects will be identified based on the candidate's strengths, interests and business need.
Perform analysis related to clinical trials to develop insight for key stakeholders (e.g. Clinical Affairs, Regulatory and Medical Affairs, Strategy, R&D, etc.)
Organize, analyze and create reports, and dashboards to summarize moderately complex challenges in clinical projects, programs and/or initiatives.
Manage Data Warehouse and support development/maintenance of ETL activities (including API & automated workflows)
Support statistical analysis and reporting of clinical data for exploratory research
Modify analysis tools by leveraging existing clinical models while utilizing clinical trial knowledge
Work with cross-functional teams to create presentations and white papers related to exploratory research
Investigate, assess and interpret clinical intel for strategic decision making to support business objectives, while proposing moderately complex solutions and recommendations
Lead portions of clinical projects in collaboration with stakeholders (e.g. vendors, cross-functional teams)
Identify and propose process improvements as it relates to clinical development (e.g. screening process, physician training)
Manage and adhere to data governance policies; ensure privacy, security, compliance, data quality
What you'll need (Required):
Bachelor's Degree Required
3 years experience of previous related experience Required
This position will be required to sit on-site in Irvine, Ca.

Experience in quantitative or analytical field Preferred
Experience working in clinical research Preferred
Proficiency in object-orientated programming (Python or R)
Experience with SQL & Data Warehousing
Experience with RShiny, Power BI, Javascript is a plus
Understanding of statistical methodology and ability to create statistical models
Proven expertise in Excel and PowerPoint and other MS Office Suite apps including Word and Access
Interest in the healthcare and medical devices industry
Good problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
Good written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills
Ability to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams and representing the organization on specific projects
Strict attention to detail
Experience in providing technical leadership
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, meet with users and understand their high-level technical requirements Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels

For California, the base pay range for this position is $70,000 to $100,000 (highly experienced).
