As a Data Analyst Coop/Intern you will model complex business problems and identify business insights using statistical, algorithmic, data mining and visualization techniques. You will also, translate disparate data sources for structured and unstructured data into insights, predictive analytics for decision making - challenging the status quo. Additionally, you will assist in building the gold source data tables that are needed to produce meaningful sales reports effectively and consistently.

We are seeking college Juniors and Seniors who are motivated to make an impact!

As a Data Analytics Coop/Intern, you will have opportunities to do the following:

• Data Collection & Integration - ability to understand how data integration works and improve upon how DuPont does this today (Data Lake)

• Acquire access to data sources

• Leverage existing data pipelines and tables

• Discover new data sources and catalog them

• Data Exploration & Preparation - Leverage Power BI Tool specifically to create necessary meaningful dashboards and evolve dashboards based on business feedback

• Apply statistical analysis and visualization techniques to tell a story with data

• Generate hypothesis and identify gaps from data sets

• Machine Learning

• Integrate domain/business knowledge into machine learning models

• Apply various machine learning techniques

• Test and evolve machine learning models

Required Skills and Experience:

• Current Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics or a closely related field

• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0

• Proficiency in Analytic Tools, specially: Power BI, Python, DataBricks, Dataflows, SQL

• Able to start May 2024

• Analytic Ability: Shows intellectual curiosity and gets to the root cause of problems to recommend solutions. Displays drive and ambition to understand how data elements fit together including relationships between different types of data.

• Business Results Orientation: Seeks to understand business needs and gets results that have a clear, positive, and direct impact on business performance. Knowledge and capability to apply various techniques to boost project outcomes.

• Communication: Clearly conveys complex and technical issues to a diverse audience. Ability to work collaboratively with various team members and functions (Finance, Digital & Customer Experience, IT Analytics teams, Sales, and Marketing, etc.)

• Decision Making: Understands and balances the trade-offs between model accuracy vs. model interpretability vs. the need for model evolution.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Overall GPA of 3.4 or higher

• Problem Analysis & Management

• Identify data-driven/machine learning opportunities.

• Prioritize scope and manage projects.
