Job Description:

The EDI-Vendor Master Data Management Analyst is responsible for supporting the creation and change of EDI and vendor master data for Community Health Systems (CHS) relevant systems to support the Lawson Procure-to-Pay function. The Master Data Senior Analyst serves as the first-line point of escalation for facility change requests and break/fixes in the data management process. He or she will be a subject matter expert on the resolution of expedited, critical, or atypical foundational supply chain data change requests and issues. He or she will contribute to team success and development through mentorships, continuous improvement cycles, and analytics for macro master data and supporting structures.

Follow all CHS master data management processes, controls, and policies

Support escalated and complex EDI and vendor master maintenance, vendor agreements, and other core vendor data change requests and issue resolutions

Maintain a high quality of written and verbal communication with internal and external customers, to include senior department and hospital leadership, regarding EDI or vendor master file maintenance questions and requests, resulting in positively perceived service

Effectively and professionally interfaces with challenging customers, providing service recovery assistance wherever possible, and escalates to supervision appropriately

Ensure systemic data accuracy and integrity while facilitating updates to the supply chain system

Execute logical search criteria on various internal and external data resources to validate true EDI or vendor record data elements for large data sets, and determine actionable data changes

Maintain a consistent taxonomy for EDI, vendor, and requisition/invoice approval master data

Recognize meaningful accounts payable invoice components like customer account numbers, payee remittances, and invoice detail to ascertain maintenance of an accurate vendor module

Discern vendor W-9 documentation, 1099 reporting, and the effect these components have on accurate vendor maintenance and accounts payable processing

Contribute new ideas, completely analyzing risks and projected performance improvements, executing useful process improvements for change management

Demonstrate work efficiency through KPIs and other established metrics for performance

Support end-user system testing for Lawson SCM patches and performance improvements

preferred experience in :Bachelor's degree in a related field such as computer science, healthcare data management, logistics & supply chain

required experience : 3+ total years of relatable data management experience

preferred:

  • 2+ years of experience in a healthcare or corporate setting, particularly operations using a shared services or centralized purchasing model for supply chain

  • 2+ years of experience with client-facing customer service

  • Infor Lawson Procurement/SCM Applications through v10.X or similar ERP software
