Job Posting Title:Data Analyst

Job Description:

The Data Analyst will work with the accounting and finance team in brand payment reconciliations, analysis of sales and payment data to identify gaps/issues/opportunities, and with the Data Warehouse team to define units and revenue. The position requires a proactive self-starter who can analyze large data sets in Microsoft Excel. The position also requires the ability to take on side projects and ad hoc reporting assignments to continually improve the reporting processes for managers outside of the accounting and finance department.


  • Brand payment reconciliations of all brands Clearlink partners with (locating orders that are missing payment)

  • Running reports and analysis of sales and payments to find pay gaps, issues, and opportunities

  • Working closely with the Data Warehouse team to define units and revenue

  • Communicate with brand partners and other internal departments of findings

  • Analyzing and working with large amounts of data in Excel


  • General knowledge of the Clearlink sales funnel (from marketing to installation)

  • Some operational experience

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills

  • Other analytical or financial skills a plus (SQL, Macros, Data Warehouse)

  • Tech savvy and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to self-manage and self-motivate

  • Coachable, team-player

  • Problem Solving Skills

  • Ability to work on and prioritize multiple projects

  • Driven to be accurate, attention to detail

Facilitates analysis and data reporting requirements, preparing database for public access. Much of this part-time work can be performed by distance computing, making use of the Internet, email, and the telephone, with occasional meeting with supervisor and other members of database team. Minimum Qualifications Two years experience in data analysis or related research experience, or equivalency required. Experience in computer based data systems management, plus the ability to express statistical and demographic concepts in clear terms, both orally and in writing is preferred. Preferences Familiarity with genetics, genomics and experimental molecular biology terminology is highly advantageous.
