Overview

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Data Analyst at Gallagher. The role of the Data Analyst is to effectively process and analyze data from various sources. This data may not be in a uniform format and it is the job of the Data Analyst to format the data through scripting or various other methods for analysis. The Data Analyst must be able to work in a deadline driven environment and be able to multitask. They must be able keep a positive attitude while working independently as well as part of a team. While the role is primarily based in Irvine, CA, there is flexibility for some remote work.

How you'll make an impact

• Analytical Skills and Data Analytics expertise
• Strong Communication skills
• Ability to work with large datasets and analyze complex information
• Detail-oriented
• Experience with python and sql is a plus
• Proficient in use of Excel

About You

Required:

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 3 years of prior relevant experience, or equivalent experience.

Preferred:

• Communication and stakeholder management skills
• Data analysis
• Problem solving
• Statistical analysis
• Basic programming knowledge
• Data preparation/cleaning
• Data visualization and presentation
