  • Develop and lead programs, initiatives for data quality, governance, and metadata activities.

  • Design and conduct complex analysis to identify and remediate data quality or integrity issues and to identify and remediate process or control gaps.

  • Analyze, assess, and test data controls and data systems to ensure quality and risk compliance standards are met. Identify data quality metrics and executes data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality.

  • Adhere to data governance standards and procedures.

  • Develop recommendations for optimal approaches to resolve data quality issues.

  • Develop and implement plans for assessing the quality of new data sources. Lead project teams and mentor less experienced staff members.

  • Leverage domain expertise and data, business, or process analysis to inform and support solution design.

  • Consult with clients to assess the current state of data and metadata quality within area of assigned responsibility.

  • Participate in cross-functional groups to develop companywide data governance strategies. Provide input into communication routines with stakeholders, business partners, and experienced leader

Translates business needs into business rules used by other members of the team to build and deploy web-based and tool-based solutions.  </p><p>Core Essential Functions</p><p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.</p><ul><li><p>Translate business needs into business rules used by other members of the Enterprise Data &amp; Business Intelligence (EDBI) team</p></li><li><p>Works with the requester to fully define/document request parameters and output requirements and formats</p></li><li><p>Create simple to moderately complex queries against data warehouse and Oracle databases in support of ad-hoc requests</p></li><li><p>Reviews data with business to evaluate data quality</p></li><li><p>Trace data lineage from source systems to data warehouse in accordance to current data governance</p></li><li><p>Work as a valuable team member with the ETL (Extract, Transform &amp; Load) team to define data structures that have value to business processes and needs</p></li><li><p>Provide data expertise to other Bureau staff and acts as a liaison between business users and technical staff.</p></li></ul><p>Competencies</p><ul><li><p>Decision Making.</p></li><li><p>Problem Solving/Analysis.</p></li><li><p>Technical Capacity.</p></li></ul><p>Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:</p><ul><li>Income Maintenance experience </li></ul><p>132 Oracle</p><p>6 months' experience, 12 semester hours, or a combination of both involving:</p><ul><li><p>Oracle System Administration including Oracle Database and Oracle Forms and Reports Application Server with training in Oracle System Administration I or II</p></li><li><p>Oracle Certified Associate/Oracle Certified Professional</p></li></ul><p>AND</p><p>280 Human/Social Services Programs</p><p>6 months' experience, 12 semester hours, or a combination of both directly related to human/social services. Experience generally obtained from either some level of government organization or a non-profit organization delivering these services. Must demonstrate exposure to the basic concepts of human/social services and related policies and procedures.
