Job Summary:

The Data Acquisition Analystis responsible for working directly with Distributors to obtain complete and timely transaction level reporting. This process results in the successful capture and processing of Foodbuy customers' purchase transactions, and the generation of manufacturer invoices, customer volume allowances and price audits ensuring maximum revenue and savings for those customers.

This position can sit in Charlotte, NC or Alpharetta, GA.

Responsibilities:

  • EDI relationship owner between Distributor and Foodbuy regarding onboarding and collection of all Customer DCN's

  • Analyze distributor data to identify gaps in reporting and potential revenue opportunities

  • Present findings to management and solicit feedback via formal/informal communication

  • Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of invoice/transactional reporting process

  • Resolve customer challenges, ad-hoc requests, and concerns

  • Generate and maintain reports used for analysis and management of daily workload

  • Facilitate ongoing weekly phone calls with priority distribution partners

  • Execute against annually provided SMART KPI's

  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to drive operational excellence and support Compass/Foodbuy initiatives (eVIA, Supply Chain, Compass hierarchy, etc)

  • Improve and enhance opportunity/gap analysis related to distributor reporting, Distributor Customer Number tracking and Compass hierarchy maintenance

  • Ensure complete and accurate collection/processing of invoice-level reporting from up hundreds of distributor locations representing over $25 billion in annual spend across the U.S. and Canada

  • Continuously seek to improve processes by applying innovative and strategic thinking and by monitoring and evaluating industry best practices

Responsibilities conti.:

  • Ability to successfully and sustainably follow Best Practices and Standard Operating Procedures on a daily/weekly/monthly basis

  • Work cross-functionally with teams across Foodbuy and Compass Group to drive operational excellence

  • Ensure that all dealings with suppliers, clients, and internal personnel are carried out professionally/ethically and with the highest integrity

  • Display sense of urgency when dealing with critical and time sensitive EDI failures.

Qualifications:

  • Financial or trend analysis experience

  • Supplier and customer interaction experience

  • Purchasing/procurement experience

  • Distribution or foodservice experience preferred

  • Detail-oriented

  • Analytical problem solving

  • Flexible/Adapts well to change

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills

  • Customer service focused with excellent phone etiquette

  • High level of Integrity and Ethics

  • 1+ years managing complex processes and working with large amounts of data

  • Occasional travel required (between Charlotte and Atlanta Corporate Offices)

  • Ability to manage and resolve conflicting priorities while meeting all required deadlines/deliverables

  • Experience with repetitive data driven and master data processes

  • Innovative mindset with the ability to implement creative solutions to process inefficiencies or complex ad hoc problems

  • Excellent collaborator and communicator, able to work cross-functionally and achieve buy-in as needed

  • Self-driven and able to produce results with minimal supervision

  • High proficiency with MS Office Suite including Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

  • Completion of Bachelor's degree is preferred

POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for providing reporting and analysis for the National Contact Center using a variety of business intelligence tools and software. In addition, responsibilities include troubleshooting existing reports, answering questions from our business partners about reports or metrics, documenting reports and ETL processes, and gathering requirements on new reports by meeting directly with the business. The successful candidate requires business acumen in combination with a functional understanding of data management and Business Intelligence technologies. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: * Responsible for consulting with business partners to identify and deliver accurate actionable information that provides business insight and supports daily business activities. * Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis in support of tactical and strategic initiatives. * Develops clear understanding of the business they support and is able to translate business process into reporting requirements. * Ensures adherence to data management/data governance policies. Data involved may be very large structured or unstructured, and from multiple sources.
