Dance Teacher

Job Description Job Description Red Door Dance Academy is looking for passionate and positive teachers Our classes are taught by skilled teachers in positive classrooms, and we pride ourselves on age-appropriate movement, music and upholding a high standard for safe practices for dancers. Our dancers go beyond technique and poise to develop important life skillslearning to be respectful, confident, and conscientious young people in the community.

We are a YPAD (Youth Protection Advocates in Dance) certified studio and all staff are trained on these best practices for teaching children and teens. You must have high energy to bring to your weekly classes, excellent presentation and professionalism, and a thorough knowledge of the dance styles you will be teaching. We hire career-minded, long term employees who have a stand out work ethic and a desire to grow.

We love versatile teachers who are skilled in multiple styles and who enjoy teaching everyone from tiny dancers to advanced teenagers. Ideally teachers can teach ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, and/or acro. We will consider candidates with ability to teach only 1-2 styles, but prefer teachers with more variety.
