Position Summary

Be a Leader by representing the organization in a professional manner through appearance, language and behavior. Promote and develop individuals with mutual respect, inclusion, diversity and dignity. Lead Team Member training and development so the preparation, production and displaying of product shows "passion for food". Coach Team Members on a regular basis with timely feedback, identify opportunities for development and coach for success.

Understand and exemplify the company's Service Standards by utilizing the Service Credos, the 4 Steps to Great Service and the 5 Steps to Great Service Recovery. Recognize and reward Team Members for going the extra mile and delivering great service. Empower and encourage Team Members to take appropriate steps to solve customer concerns to the customer's satisfaction. Analyze the Mystery Shop and Customer Satisfaction Scorecard results to identify areas where Team Members can be coached for success and coached for improvement.

This is a great opportunity if you are an experienced Line Patroller, Pipeline Field Man, Natural Gas Operations Technician, Railway Engineer, Quality Tech, Corrosion Technician, Gas Mechanic or similar.Primary Purpose: The Operations Specialist will primarily be responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of natural gas compressor units, onsite power generation units, related ancillary equipment, and pipeline facilities. The reporting location will be the Tennessee Gas Pipeline compressor station 204 near Albany, Ohio, with pipeline territory spanning from the Ohio River to Morgan County, OH. The successful candidate will be a strong team contributor with a proactive approach to balance planned and emergent work. Our Operations Specialists are responsible for operating, performing routine service and maintenance, troubleshooting and diagnosing reciprocating gas compressor engines, electric motors, generators, cooling towers, pumps, valves, valve operators, relief valves, etc. Responsibilities also include performing operation and maintenance tasks on pipelines and pipeline related equipment. This position requires working rotating shifts to support plant operation at the Compressor Station. Additional responsibilities include:Maintain and contribute to the safe operation of Company assetsTrain and qualify to complete relevant DOT covered tasksStart, stop and operate engines to maintain designated operating parameters and meet customer demandsIdentify facility and equipment malfunctions and take immediate corrective action when safe to repairFollow developed job procedures, site specific work plans and O&M policy and identify areas for procedural improvementsEnsure the cost effective operation and efficient performance of all engines and associated equipmentContinuously review facility operations and adjust for optimizationComplete general upkeep, housekeeping and maintenance of all facilities and equipment, including remote locationsLead pipeline pigging activities for maintenance and assist with ILIComplete detailed reports and documentation for record keepingMaintenance and perform limited repairs to facility equipment (e.g., wheeled tractors, pick-up trucks, fork lifts, pneumatic pumps, air compressors, coolers)Assist with the creation, planning, forecasting and managing of the district’s budgetsCommunicate articulately with work group, service providers and larger audiencesPerform one-call locates and pipeline damage prevention activitiesMust live within a 45 minute response/travel time to work locationWill require minimal out of town travel (1 week per year).
