Description

• gathering plant receiving, shipping and production information on a daily basis and preparing data for entry into the Manufacturing SAP system
• analyzing receiving, shipping and production data to determine if information is either missing or reported incorrectly
• performing system functions using files and screens within SAP to process receiving, shipping and production information
• communicating with receiving, shipping and production associates on a daily basis to ensure information is processed accurately
• generating daily inventory cycle counting reports and monitoring the SAP error log for inventory movements
• performing necessary transactions within SAP and WMS to correct errors and ensure timely processing
• accepting additional responsibilities as determined by Assistant Controller

Required Qualifications

• must be at least 18 years old
• must be efficient with Excel, Word, Access and Outlook software applications
• must be able to work early morning, late evening and weekend hours on a daily basis
• must be detail oriented and have strong analytical and problem solving skills
• must demonstrate strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
• must be able to perform mathematical operations and/or use a 10-key calculator
• must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• must have good human relations skills (the ability to work well with others and be a team player)
• must be willing to assist other team members in other areas
• must be able to perform steady and productive work for an extended period of time
• must be able to work efficiently with little or no supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Publix Manufacturing or in a cost accounting environment and

• Knowledge of specialized Publix systems including SAP
