The award-winning in-house agency team for PepsiCo Foods, affectionately called D3, is hiring again! We are growing rapidly with a dynamic team that includes Creative, Account Service, Strategy, Ops, Production, Social, Digital, Cause, and Partnership experts providing full-service creative agency work for the PepsiCo Foods North American portfolio.
The D3 team is a full-service creative agency that supports the PepsiCo Foods North America business, working on iconic brands like Lay's, Doritos, Tostitos, Smartfood, Cap'n Crunch and Quaker (to name just a few!).
This Director role is a high impact leadership role that will be responsible for leading Account Strategy within the D3 Agency team. This leader will partner across the D3 creative, social, purpose, and account teams to deliver best in class campaigns and programs that are driven by human centric insights. The director will also partner across Pepsico Foods brand teams to shape brand strategy and positioning to drive consumer engagement and market share. The director will lead a team of strategists that cultivate insights and cultural trends to shape the creative thinking for the broader D3 team to drive award winning and breakthrough campaigns.
Responsibilities
Lead a team of strategists, providing guidance and oversight to ensure professional growth, building a collaborative culture, and ensuring the success of multiple PepsiCo Foods businesses.
Support multiple creative, social and purpose teams to deliver effective and award-winning creative for omnichannel distribution as well as experiential programs.
Develop new ways of synthesizing human-centered insights from data-driven sources to create meaningful stories, actionable strategies, and annual operating plans.
Partnering with creative, social and purpose teams to develop creative strategic platforms that serve as jumping off points for new campaigns and programs
Trend scouting to proactively catch trends early, briefing creative and social teams to continue moving at the speed of culture
Partner with internal brand and customer insights teams to identify key consumer and shopper insights that inform creative work and accelerate brand growth and consumer engagement
Partner with brand and insights teams to develop brand strategies, establish positioning, and refine brand tone of voice across the portfolio
Drive greater rigor for the strategy function and infuse all creative disciplines with a better understanding and use of strategic planning tools
Collaborate with internal media planning teams and external media partners to deliver total connections planning for integrated marketing campaigns
Compensation & Benefits:
The expected compensation range for this position is between $122,300 - $242,700 based on a full-time schedule.
Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 25% of annual salary paid out annually.
and an additional target payout of 10% of annual salary is paid out over 3 years following the end of the performance period.
Long term incentive equity may be awarded based on eligibility and performance.
Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required, MBA a plus
10+ years of agency planning/strategy and/or in-house planning/strategy experience
Proven experience with developing brand strategies, brand positioning, and tone of voice across a variety of brands
Experience developing the strategy and planning behind 360 integrated marketing campaigns that bring creative ideas to life across a range of consumer touchpoints
Established track record of identifying trends and articulating into actionable insights for creative teams
Experienced people manager with ability to influence and lead others, including those outside of their function
Proven experience leading and interacting with senior leaders
Prior experience collaborating across a wide range of internal/external stakeholders from in-house agency partners, brand, external agencies, and media teams
Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills
Ability to manage multiple strategic projects simultaneously across a portfolio of brands
Experience working in a fast-paced environment that aims to respond to culture in real time
