D1D Quality and Reliability (Q&R) Engineering is a fast paced, dynamic environment within Logic Technology Development (LTD) Q&R requiring decision making at the strategic and tactical levels. The job requires a highly motivated self-starter with an ability to work with minimal supervision in a team environment. We provide leadership and guidance to HVM manufacturing sites and product business units to ensure product success at launch. We partner with fab manufacturing, BE assembly, and product Q&R teams for tactical excursion prevention, risk assessment, and response and we develop systems and screens to ensure high quality fab output that meets Intel's DPM goals.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.
Candidate must possess a Master's or PHD degree in Electronic Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 3 months of experience with:
Semiconductor fabrication, integration, and characterization.
Any of the following formal languages C, C++, C# and scripting languages JSL, PERL, Python, SQL, TCL, VBScript.
Understanding of reliability failure statistics, physics, or failure mechanisms.
Experience with statistical analysis packages
Experience in experimental design, execution, and interpretation
