Cytotechnologist Responsibilities: Evaluates and diagnosis Non-GYN cases for Pathologist review Evaluates and diagnosis GYN cases.

Performs Rapid On-Site Evaluations for FNA procedures including EBUS and EUS Guided procedures, Robotic assisted Endoscopic procedures, CT Guided and US Guided procedures. Knowledge of multiple Cytology Reporting Systems. Excellent inter- and intra-departmental communications skills.

Maintains equipment, supplies, and instrumentation. Ability to assist in the Cytopreparatory lab, as needed. Works independently and in a team.

Demonstrate organizational, time management, interpersonal, written, and verbal skills. Use computer skills appropriate to position. Needs to understand medical terminology.

Certification & Licensure: Required

• ASCP Certified Technologist in Cytology Required- State of Florida License Clinical Laboratory Personnel

• Cytotechnologist Education: Required

• Bachelor's in related field Bachelor's requirement can be waived if certified prior to 1985 Experience: Preferred

• 2 years Cytology experience. Hospital experience not required, training available.
