Cylinder Maintenance Technician

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Cylinder Maintenance Specialist to join our team located in Morrisville, PA. This position is responsible for performing duties associated with repairing, inspecting, testing, and maintaining high pressure cylinders, low pressure cylinders, and liquid cans. Additional duties include completing PM assignments, inventory control and housekeeping.

Responsibilities (2nd shift)

• Perform Ultrasonic Testing on cylinders

• Shot blasts and paint cylinders

• Clean and buff liquid containers

• Valve and de-valve cylinders

• Load and operate bake-out oven

• Inspect cylinders for proper markings (DOT pressure rating, test date, overfill, 10-year test, ownership)

• Perform internal and external cylinder inspections

• Operational testing and repair of cryogenic liquid containers

• Carry out all PM (preventative maintenance) duties assigned

• Repair and assemble / disassemble cylinder banks

• Perform Hydro testing on cylinders

• Stamp proper re-test markings into cylinders

• Maintain paint and repair supplies inventory

• Process customer owned cylinders (COC)

• Process and maintain all orders, paperwork and record keeping in accordance with SOP's

• Perform all assignments in accordance with SOP's, DOT regulations, and departmental rules.

• Keep work area clean and orderly

• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED Required

• Must Pass and Maintain UE Certifications

• Able to work flexible hours and work outdoors/indoors as required

• Must be able / willing to roll 200 cylinders

• Must be capable of operating forklift

• Able to work independently and be self-motivated

• Must be able to use product tracking system
