POSITION SUMMARY

The Cycle Counter is responsible for conducting regular inventory counts, verifying stock quantities, and identifying any discrepancies between physical counts and inventory records.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts of inventory as scheduled

• Verify inventory counts by comparing physical counts of stock with inventory records and investigating discrepancies

• Maintain accurate records of cycle counts, adjustments, and findings. Update ERP systems with accurate data

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards

• Assist in restocking, order picking, and inventory audits

• Collaborate with warehouse staff, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth inventory operations

• Properly use and maintain counting equipment, such as barcode scanners, handheld devices, and other inventory tools

Attributes

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Basic math skills for counting and reconciling inventory

• Good organizational and time management skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Effective communication skills

Qualifications

• Forklift certification required (training provided)

• Experience with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics/356, preferred

• Able to lift up to 50lbs, regularly
