I. SUMMARY:

As a Cycle Counter, you will be responsible for performing regular cycle counts of inventory, reconciling variances, and maintaining accurate inventory records. You will work closely with other departments to ensure seamless inventory management processes and contribute to the overall efficiency of the supply chain.

II. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Cycle Counting: Conduct routine cycle counts of inventory to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies between physical counts and system records.

2. Data Analysis: Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement. Report findings to management and suggest corrective actions.

3. Reconciliation: Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly. Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and logistics, to resolve issues and maintain accurate records.

4. Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate records of cycle counts, adjustments, and any other inventory-related transactions. Ensure documentation is compliant with company policies and procedures.

5. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including warehouse, purchasing, and production, to ensure accurate and timely information exchange related to inventory movements.

6. Reporting: Generate regular reports on inventory levels, accuracy, and other key performance indicators. Provide insights to management to support decision-making processes.

7. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement in inventory management. Implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy in inventory control processes.

8. Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to inventory management.

Requirements

1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in inventory management is a plus.

2. Proven experience in cycle counting or similar inventory management roles.

3. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

4. Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

7. Physical ability to lift and move inventory as needed.

VI. PREFERRED SKILLS

1. Familiarity with industry-specific inventory management practices.

2. Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards.

3. Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system
