Overview

Scentsy is looking for a Cycle Count Specialist to maintain accurate inventory levels by managing cycle count entries for all finished goods and raw materials inventories within the warehouse.

Shift is 6:45am-3:15pm

What You Would Do:

  • Perform daily cycle counts of finished goods and raw materials based on schedule, ensuring counts do not come past due

  • Perform counts that have become past due

  • Research and correct inventory discrepancies

  • Load and unload trucks with raw goods and finished materials

  • Replenish inventory by moving raw materials and finished goods from overstock into fixed bins

  • Practice First-in, First-out (FIFO) when moving inventory from one bin or location to another

  • Fulfill requisitions from shipping by moving needed inventory to shipping area for stocking

  • Assist in inventory management and inventory transfers using wireless handheld scan equipment

  • Put away inventory from truck or manufacturing into overstock using appropriate equipment

  • Let down overstock inventory using appropriate equipment to replenish fixed bins

  • Perform various inventory transfers (e.g. bin to bin, block and unblock, and storage location to storage location, etc.)

  • Participate in year-end, full physical inventory audit

  • Participate in scheduled and unscheduled inventory audits throughout the year

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

  • Perform all other assigned tasks and requirements as needed

You Should Have:

  • 1 year of experience working with bar coded or batch managed inventory

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Forklift Certification

  • Electric Forklit Certification

  • Truck Certification

  • SAP experience preferred

  • Position may require the use of personal protective equipment as outlined in required training

  • Adhere to all established procedures, policies, and safety rules as outlined by the Company

  • Expected to work 40 hours per week; some overtime may be required

You Should Be Able To:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of computers and applicable software applications including inventory management systems; familiarity with ERP systems a plus

  • Understand and practice FIFO inventory management

  • Ability to accurately enter data into handheld wireless scanner

  • Ability to read reports, computer screens, and small screens on handheld wireless scanner

  • Clear and direct written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Ability to perform multiple tasks

  • Ability to work well independently and within a team

  • Ability to stay awake, alert, and focused during late night hours (as applicable)

  • Ability to frequently bend, squat, stand walk, push, pull, reach above shoulder level, have both arms and legs accessible, and perform manual dexterity

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly on a daily basis

  • Ability to occasionally sit, climb, and kneel

  • Ability to frequently read and comprehend, write, perform basic mathematic calculations, communicate orally, reason, and analyze
