TIAG is now hiring a Cybersecurity SME to work with our team out of Bethesda, MD.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Perform IT security assessments and develop certification and accreditation plans for the Customer.

  • Provide technical, administrative direction, and review for Information Assurance (IA) and Security controls as it pertains to RMF.

  • Identify industry accepted standards, IT standards for validated data, access control, roles definition, authentication methods and apply to existing systems.

  • Review, analyze existing systems, identify and understand business rules and technical requirements as part of strategic development, implementation, and support for IA practice.

  • Contribute to research and analysis, and translate security policy and requirements to define best methods and practices.

Required Experience:

  • Information Assurance (IA) subject matter expertise with experience in applying and implementing the NIST Risk Management Framework and Special Publications 800-53, 800-37; FedRAMP, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and other related DoD and USG requirements.

  • Proficient in writing and maintaining system security plans, information security policies, and official memorandums intended for executive leadership.

  • IAM Level I (CompTIA Security+) and Secret clearance required

  • Has a working knowledge of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and applicable NIST Special Publications.

  • Possesses a basic understanding of configuration management (CM) processes Perform preliminary technology assessments, report generation, and statistical analysis for trend evaluation.
