Role Description

Skyline maintains an Information Security (InfoSec) group which provides strategic cybersecurity program guidance, engineering, operational support, and monitoring / troubleshooting for a diverse array of customers. This is a full time position reporting to the information security team lead, working within Skyline to design, implement, and support large scale cybersecurity programs within clients and internal networks.
Core Responsibilities
Provide cybersecurity consulting services to a wide range of customers including State and local government, Departments of Transportations, as well as commercial customers
Design, implement, and support large scale cybersecurity programs.
Assisting with cybersecurity training and awareness within Skyline and customer sites
Conducting gap analysis and interviews with potential customers to identify gaps in their cybersecurity control coverage.
Work with technical personnel to recommend relevant tools and vendors, as necessary
Communicate with customers and internal staff at regular intervals to ensure expectations are set and that appropriate attention is being paid to customer requests
Drive continuous improvement of our cyber security program and internal initiatives
Escalate problems to the appropriate engineering disciplines within the organization or external vendors as required to achieve resolution


Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelors Degree Required. Masters degree preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of IT Experience
Knowledge of, and experience with, Compliance or Risk Management especially related to current Federal cybersecurity standards:
Experience with other popular cybersecurity frameworks, such as CIS Top 20 and ISO 27001
Experience with the following additional standards is preferred:
Experience working within ITIL framework is a plus

Evaluates changes to CMS regulations or guidance and the downstream impact on regulatory reporting. Must have excellent analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong background in Managed Care and Medicare Advantage plans. Must have strong knowledge of CMS regulations. Must understand or quickly grasp the work flow of claim processing or related functions, including Enrollment, Adjudication, Pricing, Payment/Billing and other operations functions in a Managed Care environment. Work requires thorough knowledge and understanding of the relationship of data within tables and data dictionaries. Must demonstrate ability to resolve complex problems quickly from multiple sources. Must be a team player, self-motivated, and organized. Must demonstrate excellent communication (written & oral) skills to interact with all levels of employees, providers, vendors, and other customers. Work requires high level personal computer and business solutions software skills such as Word, Excel and database use (MicroSoft Office Suite, preferred). Also experience manipulating large files and encrypted files. Ability to convert data into other formats as needed. Requires 5 years related experience in managed care and/or health industry to prepare reports, analyze data, and solve problems. Medicare experience is required.
