The Building Business of Schneider Electric provides Intelligent building management solutions to help Customers create a productive and comfortable environment for its occupants, reduce energy consumption and run building operations efficiently.

We are looking for a Cyber Security Lead to join our team with experience in IT/OT security and product development. The CS lead will lead the overall cyber security mission and work with a virtual team of Security Advisors, System Architects and CS testers to drive process evolution and implementation of our secure product/system offering. You need to be creative and responsible while leading the organization to excel in cyber security practices. You're excited about designing and implementing secure solutions while also engaging individual customers in understanding their needs and expectations.

The system architecture targeting the commercial building space covers a complete technology stack ranging from sensors, controllers, edge platform, cloud services to mobile apps.


  • Ensure that the products from the Building Business of Schneider Electric meet the customer expectations, are compliant with worldwide regulations and are comparable to competitors offers in order to maintain business continuity.

  • Monitor cybersecurity standards and regulations worldwide, influence to align with Schneider direction, prepare the business for compliance in adequate time and ensure documented compliance of offers.

  • Deployment and enforcement of a Secure Development Lifecyle program.

  • Support development projects and conduct a final cybersecurity review on each product release with authority to hold release if security targets are not meet.

  • Drive cybersecurity certification of system offers, product and development groups.

  • Prepare offers across for Data Privacy compliance by the Schneider data Privacy officer.

  • Manage vulnerabilities and incidents for released products to ensure swift resolution of issues.

  • Collaborate with Schneider Digital on the implementation of Digital offers, protection of development sites and source code.

  • Improve the cybersecurity reputation of Schneider Electric and ability to interact with customers on cybersecurity issues.

  • Lead cybersecurity assessments of partners and technology providers.

  • CSSLP - Secure Development process certification.

  • IEC62443 certified expert.

  • CEH, CISSP, CCSP - technical certifications.

  • ISO/IEC27001 lead auditor

(Desired) Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or Cyber Security

  • 5+ years in cybersecurity work, essential that 3 years have been with an organization developing and selling HW + SW offers.

  • Experience in international organization, leading international teams and leadership by influence.

In joining our team, you will have the opportunity to be an integral part of a team responsible for managing business risk through the implementation of cost effective IT controls. The Digital Technologies organization is seeking an experienced risk analyst within the GRC, Business Risk Management department. The position will execute all aspects of the risk and opportunities management lifecycle, including identification of risks and opportunities, conducting quantitative and qualitative risk assessments, coordinating with multiple stakeholders and peer teams, and risk and opportunity reporting and monitoring. The position will first focus on quantitative and qualitative risk measurement of cyber security risks and broaden the measure Digital Technology risks across the business. The successful candidate will have strong digital risk management, business operations risk management, or project/program risk management experience and a technical background. Business finance and accounting experience is desired. This role can be based at any U.S. RMD location. (REMOTE WORK AVAILABLE) Responsibilities Include: * Working in a team to measure cyber and business risk, assist multiple Digital Technology directorates with calculating, recording, and communicating risk and opportunity details to senior leadership * Applying cyber and digital business risk methodologies (such as FAIR) to help the organization calculate and communicate high, low and most likely risk measurements for cyber security and business services and projects * Participating in business process and policy design and improvement projects, and executing project tasks to modify or implement new processes * Developing and updating policy, process, and procedure documentation * Supporting risk and opportunity process workflows and related tools, and assist with new tool and automation evaluation * Supporting and facilitating risk review boards and meetings within Digital Technology * Reporting the status of project activities and relevant milestones and key results to stakeholders and management * Assisting with the growth and maturity of the Risk & Opportunity management program * Assisting with Digital Risk Management daily operations and reporting project and strategic status as part of regular operations reviews.
