Job Description Summary

Bank of the West seeks a Cybersecurity Manager to manage and support the Bank's Cybersecurity Incident Response Team (CSIRT). The Cybersecurity Manager drives the program strategy in alignment with stakeholders, industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include responding to cyber security incidents according to established response processes and ability to leverage subject matter expertise where established processes many not exist. This position will work collaboratively within the organization and across business lines to facilitate the remediation of known and potential Cybersecurity risks. A successful candidate will be able to liaise with business unit leaders and management to communicate incident status, initiatives, and risks as it relates to business value and the Bank's organizational goals.

Essential Job Functions

  • Partners with leaders and management as needed to gain insight into program design.

  • Provides leadership and direction to project teams and/or project managers.

  • Assists Cybersecurity Managers, Cybersecurity Directors, and the Division Manager with issues, policies and procedures, white papers, program reports, etc. When required, works jointly with other Division Managers on selected specific projects.

  • Participates in special projects for Division as directed by Division Head, as needed by any other group/departments of the Bank.

  • Design policies, processes, practices, guidelines, standards, and baselines that are mapped directly to business risks to measure for effectiveness and adherence.

  • Work with Security, Information Technology, business units, key stakeholders and leadership to identify and plan cybersecurity plan to meet or exceed corporate initiatives.

  • Ensure the Program budget is in alignment with core business objectives and key initiatives.

Other Job Duties

  • Liaise with business units, leadership, and law enforcement as needed.

  • Align with the enterprise risk management strategy to communicate risk.

  • Communicate the risk of vulnerabilities in terms of the organization's environment.

  • Ensure the Bank's compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.

  • Coordinate relevant risk activities (e.g., Audit, Regulatory, risk assessment, control testing, monitoring, vulnerability management, risk reporting) and remediation of identified gaps and issues.

  • Develop and/or report on metrics to measure success of the Program.

  • Work with internal security awareness staff and Corporate Communications to identify security new and continued training and awareness needs.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Experience

  • Requires practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics within one area.

  • Typically has advanced knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization.

  • Requires 10 years minimum prior relevant experience.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree

Skills

  • 5-7 years of experience with a minimum of five years in a Cybersecurity related field 1-2 years of leadership or management experience in a technical security role

  • Knowledge of financial services environment as it applies to Cybersecurity

  • Working knowledge of operating systems, incident response management, security compliance strategies, risk assessment principles, and policies and standards

  • Project Management skills.

Position Summary Bank of the West seeks a Cybersecurity Data Analytics Analyst to manage and support the Bank's Cybersecurity Program. The Senior Data Analytics Analyst is responsible for requirement gathering - work with requirement providers and cross site team to gather and analyze requirements, conduct and participate in meetings / workshops to understand requirements. This position will work collaboratively within the organization and across business lines to establish a Program that includes the Cybersecurity strategic roadmap, policy, practices and standards, a security awareness program, incident response and management, enterprise risk assessments and management, security assessments, and the development and maintenance of supporting business technology architecture. A successful candidate will be able to liaise with business unit leaders and management to communicate Program status, initiatives, and risks as it relates to business value and the Bank's organizational goals. This role: * Analysis - Conduct functional/ Technical/ impact analysis. Write functional / Technical specifications for offshore development team based in Mumbai and Chennai. * Design and develop data models in Power BI. * Design and develop dashboards in Splunk * Expert in concepts of visualization on various tools and propose proper visualization for specific needs. * Good understating of data models and ability to define the granularity for create the reports. * Perform Testing of developed dashboards - Support SIT / UAT and Regression testing. Create test cases as needed for testing. * Work on defect resolution on defects raised by Users and help the data modeling team. Direct Responsibilities * Ability to suggest and create dashboard reports in a fly. * Ability to create effective dashboards for higher management, which brings insights out of the reports. * Able to utilize various visualization and space in dashboards. * Ability to deploy the dashboard on production and give support to the users. * Get involved in user trainings if required. * Create SOP's, perform knowledge transfer and cross training for proper backup in team. Contributing Responsibilities; * Produce and distribute daily/weekly team Status reports and contribute to project status reporting depending on the undertaking at hand * Create Technical documents as required for the project delivery purpose * Create Presentations for senior management * Performs other duties as assigned. Required Experience * Good knowledge of Data model and other tools like Alteryx is beneficial. * Should have Knowledge of predictive, prescriptive and time series analysis and should be comfortable in developing these models and utilize them. * Working knowledge of MS Office applications and Share point and its features. * Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience in the below: * Data Visualization and Analysis in any domain - financial institution will be an added advantage. * At least 2 years plus of working on Power BI , rest can be on other visualization tools with Expertise in data analysis / massaging and modeling and proper visualization tools.
