AAC Inc is seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our team as Cybersecurity Incident and Application Analyst for the NIH's Center of Information Technology's (CIT) Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Cybersecurity Operations contract. As the CI&A analyst, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the RMF and cybersecurity performance of our contract's requirements from a network and cloud perspective. Managing customer, employee, vendor and partner expectations will be important for the overall success of this work along with AAC prestige. This position requires a person who can manage and demonstrate a deep understanding of federal network, cloud, application and cybersecurity solutions and protocols. Network, cloud, application solutions, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate are a must.

Required Experience

Key Rolls & Responsibilities:

  • Subject matter expertise in architecting and deploying tools and equipment to intercept and inspect network and email traffic, and in Endpoint technology to both end user workstations and servers.

  • Expert knowledge of security industry best practices and standards, especially as it is related to compromise assessments.

  • Possesses working knowledge of security software such as Tenable, Splunk, and BigFix

  • Person in this position shall have ability to consult with customer at a high level and generate reports to track progress and have In-depth knowledge in security engineering, Network engineering, penetration testing, assessment of security controls, familiarity with HHS/DHS security policies/directives and continuous monitoring

Desired:

  • E|CIH
  • OSCP
  • GCIH
  • Splunk certifications
  • HHS experience, ideally NIH, NLM or CIT (best) experience, but none required

Travel will be minimum, less than two to three days per month, on average.
