  • Point3 Federal LLC is a small business providing cyber security solutions to the government. Since 2016, Point3 Federal has flourished into an elite provider specializing in software development, training and consulting services, and research within the cyber security domain. This role requires a Top Secret Clearance with an CI Polygraph.
  • Ensures the rigorous application of cyber-security policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of all Information Technology (IT) and cyber-security services.
  • Develops and designs security solutions to maintain confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information throughout the enterprise.
  • Identifies, plans, and documents improvements to security controls currently in place.
  • Develops and documents recommendations and courses of action (COAs) to solve complex cyber-security problems.
  • Develops and interprets cyber-security requirements as part of the IT acquisition development process and assists in the formulation of cyber-security/IT budgets.
  • Plans and schedules the installation of new or modified security hardware, operating systems, and software applications.
  • Ensures the assessment and implementation of identified computer and network environment fixes such as system patches and fixes associated with specific technical vulnerabilities as part of the Cybersecurity Vulnerability Management program.
  • Guides the implementation of appropriate operational structures and processes to ensure an effective cyber-security program, including boundary defense, incident detection, and response.
  • Possesses an in-depth understanding and the ability to apply intermediate concepts of cyber engineering and cyber-security.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge and understanding of the DOD cyber-security policies and the Risk Management Framework.
  • Contributes substantive content to the development of cyber-security documentation, concept papers, and test plans required by Command policies and the Risk Management Framework.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience with cyber security or information assurance.
  • Minimum of Bachelors Degree in a technical or business discipline from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Cyber security, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum DOD 8140/DOD 8570 IAM Level II certification.

VIEW JOBS 10/15/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-01-13T00:00 Job Description What You'll Get to Do: * The National Security and Innovative Solutions (NSIS) group, within CACI, leverages advanced technology and innovation in C4ISR, RF and freespace optical communications, spectrum management, and cyberspace operations. * In this role you will provide design ideas for new capabilities or recommendations for improvements to existing capabilities. * Expert knowledge of multiple programming languages such as C/C++, assembly (e.g. x86, ARM, MIPS), Python, or PERL. * Familiar with multiple software development methodologies (e.g. Scrum, TDD, Waterfall). * Expert level knowledge of security concepts, networks, device drivers, & system internals are applied in daily tasks. * Expert knowledge in at least one technology area (e.g. Windows, Unix, Mobile, Network devices). * Communicates status with leadership and customers. * Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects. * Provides solutions to a variety of complex technical problems. * Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming. * Ensures software standards are met. * Leads the design, development, documenting, testing and debugging of applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. * Able to lead a project developing hardware or software based CNO capabilities providing direction to other CNO developers. * Plans and conducts assignments, generally involving the larger and more important projects or more than one project. * Independently verifies the quality of CNO capabilities. * Provides daily guidance to other QA engineers. * Develops and executes test plans adding value via discovering edge conditions, regression testing planning, component, and end-to-end system tests. * Skills include application of CNO knowledge, programming (e.g. C/C++) and scripting. * Scripts (e.g. Python) can be for independent testing or for automated testing environments. * Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects. * Provides solutions to a variety of complex technical problems. You'll Bring These Qualifications: * Utilize strong development skills in Python to deliver python-based product (e.g. command-line utilities for end-users) using the Python's logging framework. * Apply best practices in OO design and development in Python. * Work collaboratively with other analysts/engineers/developers. * Maintain version control of software. * Tracking all work via software development ticketing system. * Perform/support code reviews. * Develop small C products. * Installing and configure VMWare products (GSX, ESX, and Workstation. * Develop scripts using Python, Perl, VBS and/or Unix Shell. * You'll have an Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance. MUST have this clearance. * You'll have 5-7 years of relevant experience. These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: * Knowledge of software test methodology. * Delineation between unit tests, system test, integration tests. * Specifying and implementing tests at different testing levels. * Strong experience in Python with: * Using/extending Python's unit test framework. * Cross platform development. * Using multithreading/multiprocessing paradigms in products, networking. * Experience with common building tools (e.g. Makefile, CMake, Auto tools). * Possess on or more of the following technical certifications (MCSE, RHCE, CEH, CCNA, or CISSP).
