In this fast-paced, digital environment where information security is essential, how do we ensure all of our information systems and hardware are secure and compliant? As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will assist in executing Information Security related projects and initiatives. Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions)

  • *Assist management in executing Information Security related projects and initiatives to protect Potawatomi Casino | Hotel (PCH) information systems, technology assets, brand, and confidential company, guest, and team member information.

  • *Works with Senior Cybersecurity Engineer in the design and implementation of the organization's information security architecture and practices.

  • *Work with Compliance to ensure adherence with corporate and regulatory policies/standards and industry best practices while simplifying, enhancing, and enabling business initiatives.

  • *Provide technical guidance focused on information security architecture, including security research and development, analysis, and control design for all information and technology assets, to prevent unauthorized access from both internal and external perspectives.

  • *Assist in conducting security risk assessments on all computing systems and components, both new and current, utilizing the appropriate security diagnostic tools.

  • *Identify security vulnerabilities, collaborate with business and Information Technology (IT) partners on appropriate corrective action, and report on findings.

  • *Facilitate, and/or conduct corporate security awareness training, working with Human Resources as necessary.

  • *Assist management with the documentation of all information security policies, standards, and procedures.

  • Maintain current knowledge of aspects of information security and applicable regulatory and contractual technical security requirements.

  • Perform job duties in full compliance with departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures, and regulations.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

  • A high school diploma and 3 to 5 years of progressively responsible, related information technology security experience are required. An Associate's Degree, Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field can take the place of 2 years of experience. Must have familiarity of and experience with security topics and practices such as data loss prevention, IDS/IPS, security testing, information security metrics, identity and access management, regulations and compliance (such as PCI and HIPAA), secure coding practices, incident response, and vulnerability management.

  • Prefer at least one Information Security Certification from the CompTIA Security+, International Information System Security Certification Consortium (ISC2), the SANS Institute, the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), or ISACA.

  • The ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information.

  • The ability to interact guests and team members professionally.

  • The ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to talk, hear, stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and move freely throughout the office and property. The team member is frequently required to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The team member must be able to operate a personal computer. The team member is be required to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects up to 25 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50 pounds occasionally, with assistance. Team member must wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing job duties. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Working Conditions

The noise level is usually moderate. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases. The facility is not smoke free.
