The candidate will be a member of the Lockheed Martin Cyber Solutions Team supporting a US Government and commercial customer. You will join the security team of a major nationwide organization, with thousands of sites, to continually improve its complex multi-protocol nationwide network. The ideal candidate for this job will be an experienced information security practitioner who is goal-oriented and strives to exceed expectations.

Responsible for providing providing technical leadership to deliver enterprise security architecture, engineering, and implementation. This role is action and solution oriented with an emphasis on email protection.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience with architecting, implementing and operating email protection services in large enterprises:

  • Boundary messaging gateways

  • Security add-on tools for Microsoft Exchange

  • End-point solutions targeted specifically for email protection

  • Provide guidance and leadership to determine, develop, plan, test, and implement email protection and security requirements for the enterprise

  • Collaborate with business and IT staff to understand strategic and tactical business, application, or service requirements, then translate those into securely designed solutions

  • Ability to propose and implement creative solutions to eliminate malicious (e.g. phishing) and unwanted email (e.g. spam, "graymail")

  • Provide complex technical guidance, oversight, and enforcement of security directives, policies, standards, plans, and procedures

  • Cross-functional understanding of email operations, security practices and the user experience

  • Develop project documentation including detailed security plans, security architecture designs, detailed security implementation and deployment plans, test plans, and security-focused operational procedures and training materials

  • CERTIFICATIONS: (One or more required) Security+, CISSP, Certified Penetration Testing Engineer or Certified Ethical Hacker, SFCP, GCIA, ISSEP, ISSMP, GCIH, GCFA, CSLC, CISM CCNA, CCNP

  • CLEARANCE: Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Designation - US Citizen or Green Card Holder. Willingness to submit to a Tier 5 Single-Scope Background Investigation (SSBI).

The candidate will be a member of the Lockheed Martin Cyber Solutions Team supporting a US Government and commercial customer performing the following activities: * Work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), engineering and operational project teams, end users and other stakeholders to create and maintain high quality documentation including executive level briefings, White Papers, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Training Plans. * Master current internal documentation tool chain; Assist in development and improvement of documentation life cycle management. * Work with engineering teams to develop required tool, application or service training for end users. Document required and specialized training opportunities. Align with - Organizational Training and Awareness team to ensure all technical training meets enterprise standards. * Collaborate with corporate communications to ensure communications plans, documentation and training are aligned; assist in creating departmental communications. * Engage and collaborate with end users to address content gaps, respond to feedback and promote continuous improvement of documentation experience. * Write clear and concise task-based information for a technical audience; familiarity with cybersecurity communications language and subject matter. * Have excellent writing and editing skills, familiar with AP style and Chicago Manual of Style. * Be a strategic thinker who is comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment. * Understands the difference between information management and data management; ability to assist in both. Basic Qualifications * Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Visio) including template creation and application; familiarity with XML topic based technical writing via DITA. * Working knowledge of DITA/XML authoring tools, RoboHelp, MadCap Flare, FrameMaker and Adobe Acrobat Professional. * Understanding of 508 compliance remediation. * Experience and understanding of information management/information architecture fundamentals such as version control, content management, single sourcing and metadata. * Minimum five years' experience in a technical writing field or technical engineering supporting role. * Experience in an agile environment and rapid deadlines. * Proven work experience as Project - Coordinator/Communication Specialist or similar role * Experience in project management, from conception to delivery * An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans * Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management * Strong client-facing and teamwork skills * Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control * Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Planner * Hands-on experience with project management tools * CERTIFICATIONS: PMP Certification is a plus * CLEARANCE: Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Designation - US Citizen or Green Card Holder.
