AAC Inc is seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our team as Cybersecurity Engineer for the NIH's Center of Information Technology's (CIT) Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Cybersecurity Operations contract. As the lead engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the RMF and cybersecurity performance of our contract's requirements. Managing customer, employee, vendor and partner expectations will be important for the overall success of this work along with AAC prestige. This position requires a person who can lead, manage, and demonstrate a deep understanding of federal RMF and cybersecurity policies, solutions and protocols. Cybersecurity solutions, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate are a must.
Required Experience
Key Rolls & Responsibilities:
Subject matter expertise in architecting and deploying tools and equipment to intercept and inspect network and email traffic, and in Endpoint technology to both end user workstations and servers.
Expert knowledge of security industry best practices and standards, especially as it is related to compromise assessments.
Possesses working knowledge of security software such as Tenable, Splunk, and BigFix
Person in this position shall have ability to consult with customer at a high level and generate reports to track progress and have In-depth knowledge in security engineering, Network engineering, penetration testing, assessment of security controls, familiarity with HHS/DHS security policies/directives and continuous monitoring
