Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related field preferred
5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related IT role
Experience with IT General Controls, Cybersecurity controls, and regulatory requirements
General Requirements
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire
Preferred Requirements
Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, GIAC, or equivalent preferred
Knowledge of NIST Cybersecurity Framework and NERC/CIP standards desired
Essential Functions
Lead compliance assessments of IT General Controls, Cybersecurity controls, and regulatory requirements
Develop, implement, enforce, and monitor security controls to mitigate risks and protect assets
Assess and implement cybersecurity policies, standards, and controls adherence
Collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies to continuously improve security measures
Prepare and present executive-level communication of identified risks and risk management strategy to IT and operational leadership
Perform other tasks as required
