DPS is seeking a Lead Cyber Security Architect in Washington, D.C. with an active Top Secret level security clearance.

Lead Cyber Security Architect

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist the client in creating a modern and integrated enterprise security architecture which incorporates a thorough monitoring and incident response strategy.

  • Use an understanding of cloud and on premise environments to build an architecture integrating multiple environments and across multiple classified enclaves.

  • Research and benchmark security infrastructure technologies as it relates to the organization. Identify and recommend mitigation actions for security risks as they relate to enterprise projects.

  • Produce management reporting, including appropriate metrics that inform the government about information risk.

  • Provide information security subject matter expertise to technology teams and projects.

  • Evaluate and recommend security software/hardware and its integration into existing architecture.

Lead Cyber Security Architect Job

  • This position requires US Citizenship due to our Federal contractual obligation

  • 10 years of experience in technical roles in Information Assurance or cybersecurity

  • Demonstrated experience with securing large and complex environments, such as data centers or other industrial spaces.

  • Demonstrated experience leading security design and architecture reviews of large applications, systems, and networks

  • Demonstrated subject matter expertise in at least one of the following (1) Windows and Active Directory, (2) networking/routing/switching and/or applications based on .NET, C or C#

  • Demonstrated experience navigating businesses / organizations through complex risk decisions

Collect, process and analyze data and information to create threat intelligence.  Maintain detailed knowledge and familiarity with attack surfaces and attack vectors.  Identify, track and monitor emerging security threats and trends.  Keep current with changing technologies, threat actors and geopolitical events which could impact confidentiality, stability and operations.  Provide research, analysis, coordination, publishing and briefs on security threats, technical risks and geopolitical issues that have the potential of affecting the organizations business, employees, clients.  Provide rapid assessments of potentially imminent security situations, sensitive developments and complex threat issues.  Assess unforeseen thread developments and recommend changes in security direction and approach.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Administer security and intelligence tools, keeping them current, tuned and optimized.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Engineer security and intelligence tools and processes to meet scope and mission requirements.
