Cybersecurity Analyst

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our IT security team and help us safeguard our network, data, and devices from cyber-attacks. You will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, analyzing, and responding to security incidents, as well as implementing preventive measures and best practices. You will also collaborate with other IT professionals and stakeholders to ensure compliance with security policies and standards.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensure the integrity and protection of networks, endpoints, servers, cloud, IoT, OT, Data and applications by technical enforcement of organizational security policies.

• Monitor and manage next-generation anti-virus, EDR and DLP

• Monitor and respond to threat alert from SIEM.

• Monitor and analyze network traffic and security logs for anomalies and suspicious activities.

• Recognize potential, successful, and unsuccessful intrusion attempts and compromises through reviews and analyses of relevant event detail and summary information.

• Contain and mitigate the impact of security incidents and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.

• Prepare and maintain incident reports and documentation.

• Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on systems and applications.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or related field

• 0 - 2 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security

• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, or CISM are preferred.

Skills

• Knowledge of network protocols, security frameworks, and tools

• Ability to analyze and interpret security data and logs.

• Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Attention to detail and accuracy.
