Description:This position will support the Cybersecurity/Information Assurance (IA) mission for the Rotary & Mission Systems (RMS) products. As a member of the Training Devices (TD) IA team, you will ensure that the systems are designed, developed, sustained, and documented to support required Risk Management Framework (RMF) security Assessment and Authorization (A&A) efforts. Responsibilities include ensuring that cyber security requirements are properly defined, decomposed, and allocated and that the solution will satisfy applicable Government regulations. Additionally, it includes conducting formal artifact reviews, performing hardening activities, working closely with various F-35 organizations throughout the complete development life-cycle for that field deliverable product.
The selected candidate must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, time-management, and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate must demonstrate effective communication skills as the position will require frequent program management and customer interactions. Must have experience building and maintaining internal and external customer relationships.
Candidate must have solid understanding and application of systems engineering principles, requirements analysis and development, system architecture, as well as defining and executing test procedures. Experience with or knowledge of the NIST SP 800-53 RMF and DoD 8510.01 RMF process for Assessment and Authorization.
Additionally, candidates must be U.S. citizen and be able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
Experience working with System Administrators and/or System Integrator applying software patches / DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides to DoD Information systems (i.e., IAVMs)
Experience with Windows Server 2012 and 2016 administration, Windows 7 and Windows 10 desktop operating systems.
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
Experience or familiarity with VMware tools, RedHat Linux
Experience with McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator
CISSP, Security Plus or equivalent security certification or the pursuit thereof.
