Job Description

As a Cyber Test Engineer, you will proactively identify and document both known and unknown cyber threats. Your role includes tracking the status of these threats throughout the software development cycle, configuring and optimizing system dashboards to detect and react to threats effectively. You will document recommendations to prevent and respond to cyber threats, participate in the T&E Working Integrated Product Team (WIPT), and routinely update stakeholders on threat status. Additionally, you will coordinate with Red/Blue team Developmental and Operational testers, support test events, and review and provide feedback on Contractor, Developmental, and Operational Test Plans and Reports.

This is a contract position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Aberdeen, Maryland.

Work Environment

The position is based in a satellite office in Hanover, MD, with a hybrid remote working schedule. Technical staff are expected to be on-site daily, with potential flexibility after integration into the team. Occasional on-site visits to the base and travel to various locations such as NOVA, South, Midwest are required. This role supports the PM Space and Cyber under the Electronic Warfare and Cyber (EW&C) Program.
