Cyber Systems Subject Matter Expert (SME)


Applicability of cyber controls on a deployed product

Perform Trade Studies on topics such as: Data Encryption, Message Integrity, Denial of Service Protection, Centralized Auditing

Experience with ATO/IATO certification packages


RMF Cyber for Radar Systems Test Site Support

The Reliability, Availability, Maintainability (RAM) & Failure Reporting, Analysis, Corrective Action System (FRACAS) Engineering section is responsible for all aspects of RAM & FRACAS activity within the Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) business unit. The RAM/FRACAS Engineer ensures performance compliance of both customer and internal requirements. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: * Support the Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) Process * Works closely with team members on identifying root cause and corrective actions * Leads FRACAS Events Review Boards (FERBs) and Failure Investigations * Conducts data analysis and trending * Perform RAM trade-off analyses * Assess RAM performance (MTBF, MTBCF, Ao) * Define/allocate RAM requirements * Perform Reliability Predictions * Perform Failure Modes Effects Criticality Analysis (FMECA * Support Reliability Test Planning and Execution (Accelerated, Growth, Demonstration) * Provide support to proposals This position can be a G09 or a G10 based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibilities required for the position Required Skills: * Six (6)+ years of related engineering experience. * Experience with RAM Engineering and/or Failure Analysis/Quality Assurance Desired Skills: * Strong communication skills; Ability to present to diverse audiences * Ability & desire to work in large teams. * Active Secret Clearance or eligibility to obtain Secret Clearance * Assessing RAM performance (MTBF, MTBCF, Ao) * Conducting data analysis and trending * Defining / allocating RAM requirements * Performing Reliability Predictions * Performing Failure Modes Effects Criticality Analysis (FMECA) * ISO 9000 * Perform RAM trade-off analyses * Experience assessing RAM performance of fielded equipment. * Certification in the area of Reliability, Availability and Maintainability. * Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) * Master of Science in Engineering Degree Required Education: * BS/BA in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) or other technical discipline. 8 years of applicable to this job description experience may be considered in lieu of a BS/BA 119169BR 119169 Business Unit Profile Headquartered in Tewksbury, Massachusetts, IDS has 32 locations around the world.
