Support Cyber Application and Tools Development for Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO)
Designs, develops, deploys, tests, and evaluates cyber systems and applications.
Coordinates resolution of application issues, upgrades, and problems.
Conducts application configuration and optimization
Develops and maintains manuals, drawings, system specifications, electronic and hardcopy files of customer installations, calibration records, maintenance records, and quality control information.
Mentors mid-level and junior staff

Requirements

U.S. Citizenship
Current TS/SCI security clearance, with CI Poly (preferred).
Education:HS + 16+ Years; BA/BA + 10+ Years; or MA/MS + 8+ Years.
Minimum of ten (10) years of experience with a 4-year degree, OR 16 years experience with no degree
Expert designer, developer, deployer, tester, and evaluator of software applications that is skilled in various forensics and reverse engineering techniques and methods.
Experience working with Windows AD, VMWare, and CISCO switches.
Required DoD IAT Certifications: IAT LEVEL III. Prefer: CHFI, GCFA, CEH
F&MA is M-F, 16x5 (with on-call surge support)
Security+ Certified
Well-versed in all phases of the software development life-cycle including performance, functionality, integration, implementation, regression, and user acceptance.
Familiarity with common stacks
Minimum of 5 years experience with Python
Proficient in Powershell
Application tool development experience
Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js)
Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities: * Write code to create new software and/or add capabilities to existing software. * Troubleshoot existing software and write code to correct problems. * Participate in working group discussions to distill operational requirements into software requirements. * Create new and novel software code from software requirements. Required Qualifications: * Either hold or become CompTia Security + certified within the first six (6) months. * Bachelor's degree in IT or computer science discipline and possess a strong aptitude for mathematics. * Shall qualify to handle controlled cryptographic items (CCI), to include courier orders. * Computer Programmers providing Systems Administration support in LE on day one must have baseline certification in GSEC or Security+CE or CSA+ or GICSP or SSCP or CCNA Security (preferred) or IAT Level III Certification. * Must have passed Microsoft Exam 70-410 "Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012". Within six months must obtain the following 1. Windows = 1 of 2: [pass MS Exam 70‐411 "Administering Windows Server 2012"; or Windows training approved by the CBL IAM/COR] AND 2.
