Cyber Security Specialist

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Cyber Security Specialist to join a DoD program supporting the USMC located in Quantico, VA. The Cyber Security Specialist will assist the USMC by providing IT support and ensuring the network environment is secure and meeting NIST requirements.

MUST HAVE COMPTIA SECURITY+ CERTIFICATION AND ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE

Responsibilities for the Cyber Security Specialist include:

• Operate HBSS, firewalls, IPS, IDS, and other tools to protect the network

• Develop security policies, plans, and procedures

• Support RMF assessment efforts, SAAR processing, vulnerability scanning and remediation, etc.

• Respond to cyber related tickets using Remedy

Required Qualifications for the Cyber Security Specialist include:

• Must have an Active Top Secret Clearance

• 4+ Years of IT Support experience focused on Cyber Security

• Experience with ACAS, HBSS, RMF Accredidation

• Active IAT II Certification: CompTIA Security+, CCNA Security, CySA+, or equivalent/higher

• High School Diploma

Compensation for the Cyber Security Specialist include:

• Salary Range: $60,000-75,000/year depending on experience
