Raytheon Intelligence and Information Services (IIS) Cyber Security & Special Missions (CSM) has an immediate opening for a Project Manager in support of Cyber Services delivery for a commercial client. This position location: Prefer Sterling, VA but will consider remote.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Single client with a headquarters enterprise network and 50+ affiliate networks

  • Oversee execution by hybrid delivery team (dedicated analysts/security engineers, as well as managed services analysts/engineers)

  • Regular project progress and performance reporting to customer and regular client meetings (online and/or phone)

  • The position is not hands-on, although it will require working with and understanding technology and cyber security subject matter experts

  • Occasional travel (<10%) to="" client="" or="" herndon,="" va="" (if="" hired="">

  • The position does not require a clearance, although Raytheon is able to hold employee clearances

  • Coordinate internal and client resources to meet contract objectives;

  • Successfully manage the relationship with the client;

  • Facilitate client communications:

  • Ensure resource availability and allocation;

  • Respond to and resolve issues brought up by the customer;

  • Utilize a project plan to monitor and track project progress notify client of any schedule changes;

  • Provide suggestions for improvements in delivery, reporting, etc.

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years directly related experience;

  • Candidate should also demonstrate attention to detail, have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt to changes in priorities in a fast-paced environment;

  • Must be able to work collaboratively across teams and work locations;

  • Proven ability to analyze problems and propose reasonable solutions;

  • Ability to be organized, document and follow processes;

  • Communicate effectively Good verbal and written communication skills;

  • Good interpersonal skill to enable building working relationships;

  • Ability to work within a multi-disciplined team;

  • Proficiency with MS Office Applications including MS Project and Visio;

  • Good ability to gather information from various sources, both electronic and written to support the development of briefing materials and other projects;

  • Leadership and assertiveness;

  • Innovative and creative.

Desired Skills:

  • Understanding of network and system log collection, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and Network Security Monitoring (NSM) tools

  • Network Security Operations Hunting, triage, incident response;

  • Ability to assist others in solving problems and work with them to implement the solution.

Required Education (Including Major): B.S./B.A. in related field (i.e. Engineering, Computer Science, Communications, Marketing, Business, etc.). Experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Desired Certification: CAPM, PMP

The candidate must have a working knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and JSIG requirements that apply to Information System (IS) security and/or Industrial Security Field Operations (ISFO) Process Manual for the certification and accreditation of classified systems regulated under the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) chapter 8. Additionally, the candidate should have knowledge of other security disciplines and how they impact and interact with information system security. Must have experience with the development, implementation, and maintenance of computer security plans as well as the documentation, and presentation of the IS security education program to ensure facility compliance with requirements for information system security. Must be able to coordinate with other security disciplines to ensure all classified computing assets are properly accredited. Candidate must be able to effectively interface with numerous cognizant security agencies and customers, taking direction from more senior analysts and management. Promotes daily contact with program management, engineering staff, the Orlando technical security manager, and other security and program personnel to resolve technical security related issues. Candidate must have knowledge of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and the NSA configuration standards for DOD IA and IA-enabled devices/systems, computer operations and experience with the technical configuration settings for various operating systems. Should be able to communicate effectively, speak in front of large groups of people, have excellent organizational skills and be able to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment. Knowledge of government/contractor network inter-connectivity desired. Basic Qualifications: Experience working with classified information systems. Ability to author security plans, maintain accreditations, ability to perform technical certifications for accredited systems. Must possess and maintain 8570 requirements such as CISSP, Network+, or Security+ certifications or must be able to obtain within 180 days of start date. This position requires applicants to have a final Secret security clearance with a background investigation performed within the last six years. Candidates must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance upon employment. This position also requires an enhanced security review in accordance with Government contract requirements and it is a condition of employment that individuals hired into positions requiring program clearance obtain and maintain such clearance within sufficient time to allow Lockheed Martin meet its business needs. Desired Skills: Experience with DCID, NISPOM, RMF, and JSIG certification and accreditation processes. Current classified cyber security experience as an Information System Security Officer/Manager (ISSO/ISSM) and/or Information Assurance Officer/Manager (IAO/IAM).
