WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Be the face of MCR for new hires and team members; exemplify MCR's values and set a great example by always demonstrating excellent guest service and professionalism.

  • Practice, support and promote the Vision and Mission Statements, and Core Values of the Muckleshoot Casino Resort (MCR).

  • Create and maintain the enterprise's security architecture design.

  • Create and maintain the enterprise's security awareness training program.

  • Create and maintain the enterprise's security documents (policies, standards, baselines, guidelines, and procedures).

  • Create and maintain the enterprise's Business Continuity Plan and Disaster Recovery Plan, where appropriate.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the IT security industry including awareness of new or revised security solutions, improved security processes and the development of new attacks and threat vectors.

  • Select and acquire additional security solutions or enhancements to existing security solutions to improve overall enterprise security as per the enterprise's existing procurement processes.

  • Oversee the deployment, integration, and initial configuration of all new security solutions and of any enhancements to existing security solutions in accordance with standard best operating procedures generically and the enterprise's security documents specifically.

  • Ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the data residing on or transmitted to/from/through enterprise workstations, servers, and other systems and in databases and other data repositories.

  • Ensure the enforcement of enterprise security documents.

  • Supervise all investigations into problematic activity and provide on-going communication with senior management.

  • Supervise the design and execution of vulnerability assessments, penetration tests and security audits.

  • Engage in ongoing communications with peers in the Systems and Networking groups as well as the various business groups to ensure enterprise wide understanding of security goals, to solicit feedback and to foster co-operation.

  • Audit systems for secure configuration.

  • Continuous vulnerability assessment and recommend remediation procedures.

  • System & network security monitoring with security information event management tools.

  • Continuously review security bulletins and related news; stay apprised of current threats and trends.

  • Participate in data and root cause analysis for each service impacting incident with all possible corrective actions for improvement.

  • Working in partnership with other teams to improve defensive posture.

  • Track common vulnerabilities and exposures (CVE) based security threats and map to internal controls and remediation plans.

  • Map security practices to regulatory controls (HIPAA - Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, CIS - Center for Internet Security control, PCI DSS - Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard).

  • Create, maintain, and facilitate a positive and safe work environment; promote positive team member relations and reports issues to appropriate personnel.

  • Engage guests, team members and vendors with a professional and friendly demeanor.

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field. Four (4) years of additional relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of education.

  • Five (5) years of experience in an Information Security, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, or Technology Management role.

  • Three (3) years of the required experience must include supervisory or management experience.

  • One or more of the following certifications required:

  • GIAC Security Essentials Certification

  • GIAC Security Leadership Certification

  • ISACA Certified Information Security Manager

  • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer: Security

  • Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SCCP)

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

  • Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (ISSAP)

HOW YOU'LL BE SUCCESSFUL

  • Knowledge of enterprise security architecture design.

  • Knowledge of enterprise security document creation.

  • Knowledge of logic based deductive critical thinking to troubleshoot any security incident.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Linux, Apple, and Cisco operating systems.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory as well as the complexities surrounding large scale enterprises.

  • Skilled in designing and delivering employee security awareness training.

  • Skilled in developing Business Continuity Plans and Disaster Recovery Plans.

  • Skilled in supporting and maintaining security information and event management system.

  • Skilled, effective communication and effective interpersonal skills when interacting with various levels of personnel. Read, write, and speak English fluently.

  • Skilled in documenting technical systems and procedures.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks to most efficiently problem solve.

  • Ability to provide superior guest service.

  • Ability to use of portable radio or cellular telephone to be in constant contact with department, during assigned shift.

  • Ability to work on multiple projects and objectives concurrently.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Availability
  • Ability to work different shifts, holidays, weekends, and nights to support a 24/7 operation.
  • Physical
  • Ability to maneuver in all areas of casino, ascent/descent from stairs, frequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching, and/or prolonged periods of time focusing on tasks. Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. May regularly need to lift/ move, push or pull up material or boxes necessary to the job function, with or without assistance.
